No. Apple ID on an iPhone (or iPad / iPod) needs to be configured the same as used to purchase a subscription earlier.

The app and subscription are associated with your Apple ID. So, if you have edited earlier Apple ID and now using a different email as Apple ID, the app and subscription will work without any change. But if you are using an absolutely separate Apple ID that is not used to subscribe, the app will not work.
