Understanding Currency Display in the 2ndLine App:

  • The currency you see displayed in the 2ndLine app for subscriptions and purchases is "determined by the country or region associated with your Apple ID". This applies to all App Store purchases, not just 2ndLine.

Here's what's happening:

  • If you have set your Apple ID country to the United States (USA), the app will "show prices in USD", regardless of your actual location, for example: Nigeria.
  • This applies even if you are physically in Nigeria when accessing the app.

If you'd like to see the price in Nigerian Naira (NGN) or any other currency:

  • Change your Apple ID country/region settings. You can find instructions on how to do this on the Apple website.
  • Please note that changing your Apple ID region might impact other App Store purchases and subscriptions associated with your account.

Additionally:

  • The displayed currency in the app does not affect the actual charges on your credit card. Your bank or financial institution might apply conversion fees based on their exchange rates and policies.
