The 2ndLine app enables you to manage your communication by offering a robust blocking feature. This means you can effortlessly prevent specific phone numbers from reaching you, eliminating unwanted or harassing calls and texts.
Here's how to block a contact:
Method 1: Using the Settings Menu
- Open the 2ndLine app.
- Tap the "Settings" icon at the bottom right corner.
- Scroll down and select "Blocked Numbers".
- Tap "Add New".
- Choose the country code and enter the phone number you want to block. You can also tap the "Contacts" icon to select a contact from your list.
- Tap "Block".
Method 2: Blocking Directly from Call History
- Open the 2ndLine app and tap the "Recents" icon at the bottom.
- Find the unwanted contact in your call history.
- Swipe left on the contact's entry.
- Tap "Block" from the options menu.
Remember:
- Blocked callers cannot reach you via calls or messages.
- You can unblock a number anytime by swiping right and tapping "Unblock" in the "Blocked Numbers" list.
Additional Tips:
- You can block both individuals and unknown numbers.
