The 2ndLine app enables you to manage your communication by offering a robust blocking feature. This means you can effortlessly prevent specific phone numbers from reaching you, eliminating unwanted or harassing calls and texts.


Here's how to block a contact:


Method 1: Using the Settings Menu

  1. Open the 2ndLine app.
  2. Tap the "Settings" icon at the bottom right corner.
  3. Scroll down and select "Blocked Numbers".
  4. Tap "Add New".
  5. Choose the country code and enter the phone number you want to block. You can also tap the "Contacts" icon to select a contact from your list.
  6. Tap "Block".


Method 2: Blocking Directly from Call History

  1. Open the 2ndLine app and tap the "Recents" icon at the bottom.
  2. Find the unwanted contact in your call history.
  3. Swipe left on the contact's entry.
  4. Tap "Block" from the options menu.


Remember:

  • Blocked callers cannot reach you via calls or messages.
  • You can unblock a number anytime by swiping right and tapping "Unblock" in the "Blocked Numbers" list.


Additional Tips:

  • You can block both individuals and unknown numbers.
  • Blocking a number in 2ndLine won't affect your phone's main contact list or block them from reaching your other phone numbers.
